Clivedale London is an independent developer established in 2012 and based in Mayfair. Its growing portfolio spans exceptional residential, commercial and hotel developments across some of the capital’s most prestigious addresses.

Chalk partnered with Clivedale on The Mansion, a boutique collection of luxury apartments in Marylebone. As the development neared completion, the focus turned to creating a thoughtful arrival experience for new residents, with carefully considered welcome materials and details designed to introduce the building, reflect its character and make moving into a new home feel special.

Clivedale required a bespoke handover pack that reflected the quality and craftsmanship of The Mansion itself. The pack needed to feel luxurious, thoughtful and timeless — something residents would value and keep long after moving in.

Beyond simply presenting practical information, the aim was to create a beautifully designed object that celebrated both the development and its prestigious Marylebone setting.

The welcome pack was designed to reflect The Mansion’s distinctive character through considered materials, precise craftsmanship and personal touches.

The materials were presented in a bespoke presentation box, finished with copper foiling and embossing for a rich, tactile finish. Custom-routed foam inserts held each item securely in place, giving the contents a carefully composed presentation.

The centrepiece was a hand-sewn, leather-bound coffee-table book that combined a practical guide with a lasting memento. Celebrating Marylebone’s history and character, it introduced residents to the neighbourhood’s restaurants, entertainment and cultural destinations. A beautifully foiled map brought the area to life, highlighting key places to explore.

From the choice of paper stocks and textures to the finishing of each element, every detail was selected to create a cohesive welcome experience that felt considered, personal and true to the development.
