Brand refresh and website for asset constructor and operator, Wise Energy.
Founded in 2009, WiseEnergy is part of the NextEnergy Group and provides comprehensive solar asset management services for both the Group and a growing portfolio of external clients. As an active member of leading international industry bodies WiseEnergy has established itself as a trusted operator and asset manager within the global solar sector. WiseEnergy approached Chalk to refresh their digital presence and create a more engaging, intuitive website for their audiences.
While the company was keen to retain its existing logo, the broader visual identity and user experience were ready for a thoughtful evolution.
Our first step was to gain a deep understanding of WiseEnergy’s values, services and the needs of the audiences interacting with the site. From this foundation, we developed a refined brand expression designed to better reflect the company’s market-leading expertise. The colour palette was refreshed to be more vibrant and contemporary, complemented by a more defined typographic system and the introduction of clean, informative infographics.
With the messaging and site structure clearly defined, we began building the new platform with robust end-user testing embedded throughout the process. A new graphical language and expanded brand palette were introduced, carefully designed to complement the existing logo while giving the website a more modern and confident visual presence.
The resulting digital platform places greater emphasis on WiseEnergy’s sustainability credentials, utilising a modular and infographic-led structure to communicate complex information in a clear and engaging way.
Alongside the design and user experience improvements, we also strengthened the site’s technical infrastructure. Enhanced security measures were implemented, including two-factor authentication and Global Edge Security within the hosting environment, ensuring the platform remains both resilient and secure.
The refreshed website provides WiseEnergy with a dynamic digital presence that reflects their expertise and supports their continued growth within the global renewable energy sector.
