Boodle Hatfield are an established and prestigious law firm with three centuries of expertise in property, business and private wealth issues.
BACKGROUND
Boodle Hatfield were keen to build their brand and grow their customer base. They wanted a new visual identity that retained their heritage, nodded to their well-established reputation, whilst also highlighting their ingenuity and their modern approach. They were also keen to enhance their digital presence to support their business goals.
The team at Boodle Hatfield also identified that cross-selling to their core business was an integral part of their business strategy.
WHAT WE DELIVERED
Working with key stakeholders, we spent time unpicking what their customer base looked like so we could understand their key audience segments. Using that insight, we then worked on wireframes that spoke directly to those groups. At every stage of the website development, we sought user feedback so our work would be as impactful as possible in delivering against Boodle Hatfield’s goals.
Understanding the importance of cross-sell meant that we built the site to offer a real transparency into their other business areas. For example, a visitor to their site exploring one specific area would clearly see the other key ways the company could support them.
The colour palette we delivered retained elements of their prestigious aesthetic, but we brought in pops of colour throughout to elevate the brand.
We also introduced a theme of music which was woven throughout their site. This theme brought together the past and the present which was identified as important for the company.
